Garlic butter steak bites with parmesan cream sauce

  • Author: Chef Kai
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lbs steak (sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the steak
Pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Let rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.

2️⃣ Sear the steak
Heat 2 tbsp butter in a hot skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and keep warm.

3️⃣ Make the garlic butter base
Reduce heat to medium, melt the remaining butter, and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4️⃣ Prepare the parmesan cream sauce
Pour in heavy cream, then stir in parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

5️⃣ Combine and serve
Return steak bites to the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan before serving.

Notes

Pro oh là là tip: for an extra depth of flavor, deglaze the pan with a splash of beef broth before adding the cream.
